Who We Are
In 1973 Gary Smith began selling lodging properties along with other business opportunities. He began to focus on hospitality properties in 1980. In 1985, Gary founded his own company to provide specialized brokerage services to the hospitality industry.
Meril Dean joined the company in 1990 and in 2000 SMITH DEAN was formed and the company has now evolved into SMITH DEAN BURGETT. All the while maintaining our hands on approach to hotel brokerage, but now with a national presence and wider reach.
