The Fitness Center got a new rubber floor, new A/C unit, and new Precor fitness equipment. The lobby got a new tile floor, paint, and furniture. The breakfast area was completely gutted and enlarged by taking out a full room for increased dining/seating and food preparation. The dining/seating area was completely redesigned with new tables, lighting, flooring, TV’s, countertops and cabinets. The food prep area got new metal cabinets, new refrigeration, sinks, flooring and equipment. In addition, ownership updated the hotel signage and the entire parking lot was milled and replaced with new asphalt. Painting of the hotels exterior began last fall and was interrupted because of inclement weather, but will be completed in Spring/Summer 2019.
The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson was built in 1976. It is well-constructed and greatly benefits from its strategic location at the base of Old Mission Peninsula between the east and west branches of Grand Traverse Bay. New ownership will be in a unique position to capitalize on the recent affiliation with Country Inn & Suites by Radisson and the over-the-top total renovation the hotel received.
