1400 US Highway 31 Beulah, MI 49617 The Village of Beulah is the county seat of Benzie County. The village is located in Benzonia Township at the southeast end of Crystal Lake, about one mile north of Benzonia on U.S. Highway 31.

Facilities

The Best Western Scenic Hill Resort was built in 2005 and features 43 guest rooms in a 2 story building with interior corridors, elevator, full basement with meeting rooms, indoor pool, exercise room and breakfast room. Additional space on lower level was previously used to house a spa and salon.

Beulah has long been known as a summer vacation destination. The village of Beulah has two commercial areas, one area is known as “downtown” Beulah and the other is referred to as the US-31 corridor. The mainstay of businesses in Beulah operate year-round with only a few being seasonal.

Benzie County has 60 miles of shoreline, of which 25 miles are on Lake Michigan, including a portion of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This naturally scenic area of northern Michigan, with its sandy beaches, high bluffs, clean lakes and natural rivers has been titled “The Best Place in Michigan for Outdoor Sports”.
